10 Simple Pleasures

I was tagged by Phil, so here goes. I would have posted sooner, but there are so many things I love, I had a hard time paring it down to the top ten. Plus, Phil stole lots of mine with the Blue Bell ice cream, Starburst jellybeans and whatnot. Anyway, here are a few of my favorite things:

8. Pot Belly “Wreck” sandwich
7. The feeling of satisfaction after completing a home improvement project
6. Any well-acted ensemble television drama (of late, it has been the new shows Brothers & Sisters, Six Degrees, Studio 60, and Heroes)
5. Janelle’s amazing chocolate cake
4. Discovering a new, fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurant
3. Finding a great bargain while shopping
2. Taking a nap on a rainy day
1. The soft sweetness of Janelle’s cheeks – truly my favorite thing in the whole world
