Life is full of stories and songs. By sharing them, maybe we see a little more clearly how we are all connected.
About Me
- Name: Victor
- Location: Deep South
I grew up in Texas and then went off to college in Tennessee. There I met my future wife in a great story you'll have to hear someday. Med school was back in Texas. We got married during my 2nd year. After med school, it was on to Neurology residency in the Deep South. Now that I'm a full fledged neurologist, I'm just trying to balance it all with a new baby on the way...

And 3 Become 4...
It is shameful how long it has been since my last post. In that time, our little Dylan has grown into a boy. And our family of three is about to become a family of four. We will welcome little Vivian into the world sometime in early August (or late July if we have our wish).
From a work standpoint, Janelle is working in private practice 2 days a week, and I am trying to settle into life as a junior faculty member. I have somehow gotten sucked into more committees and other commitments than I wanted, but it is all enjoyable work. I have many more stories to share, and those will be coming soon...

Long overdue updates
New jobs for us, adjusting to life with baby, lots of travels, and all of that amounts to not enough to time to blog. Here are some recent pics of little Dylan.

Yeah Dad!
So proud of my dad for this great interview and so happy for him that he has found such fulfilling work that is also good for the environment.

Presenting...
He's here! We are so happy to welcome our son Dylan to the world. Here are some pics from his first few days. We had his first professional newborn shoot yesterday, and when it came time for the obligate bare-butt photos, right on cue, he pooped all over the photographer's white blanket. Then as I moved him to the changing table to clean him, he streamed poo the whole way, covering my pants, the floor, the photographer's bag, and the side of the changing table. I feel like a real dad now, and it only took a bit of poo to make that official!
